The Fidelity MSCI Communication Services Index ETF is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Thursday, with over 1.8 million shares traded versus three month average volume of about 201,000. Shares of FCOM were up about 0.4% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Thursday were Space Exploration Technologies, trading up about 2.6% with over 66.7 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Warner BROS. Discovery, up about 1% on volume of over 14.0 million shares. Reddit is the component faring the best Thursday, up by about 6.5% on the day, while Cogent Communications Holdings is lagging other components of the Fidelity MSCI Communication Services Index ETF, trading lower by about 6.8%.
